All that we experience in this life was created to lead us to our Creator. All that we see, hear, touch, taste and feel was created so that we might see the Most High and be drawn to Him. Just as the personality of an artist can be see through his paintings or the heart of an author can be seen through his writings, so too the creation allow us to see the Creator. All of His works are embedded with His image.

The Holy Scriptures state that Messiah is all and in all (Colossians 3:11), this is because He is the Creator (Ephesians 3:9; 1 Corinthians 8:6; John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:12-17; Hebrews 1:1-12). The purpose of "Shadows of Messiah" is to reveal Messiah in His creation, to establish the foundation that all branches of science point to Him.

Most realize that the study of creation inevitably leads one to the conclusion that there is a Creator even if that person has not come to the knowledge of the Bible being the Word of that same Creator.

From the amazing complexity of the DNA molecule to the harmony and synchronicity of the heavenly bodies, it can not be denied that there is a Creator who made these things. What is not understood by most, I believe, is that His creation is a type of His 'Word.' His creation points to His Word and from His Word and the Hebrew language it is seen that His creation is a shadow picture of Messiah Yahshua/Jesus.

Not only did the Creator give His Word to mankind to lead them to the knowledge of salvation found in the Messiah, so too, He gave them shadows and parables in all of nature that lead them to Him as well.

Colossians 3:11 states that Messiah Yahshua/Jesus is all and in all.

Col 3:11  Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

In creation, this concept is seen in shadow picture or parable form.  All things are a shadow pointing back to Messiah (Hebrews 8:5; 9:24; 10:1; Colossians 2:16-17) who is the Image of God (Hebrews 1:3; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Colossians 1:15-16).

All that we experience in this life was created to lead us to our Creator (Romans 1:19-20; Psalm 33:6-9; 150:6; Isaiah 40:26; 41:20; 45:5-8).  All that we see, hear, touch, taste and feel was created so that we might see the Most High and be drawn to Him.  Just as the personality of an artist can be see through his paintings or  the heart of an author can be seen through his writings, so too the creation allow us to see the Creator.  He is the Great Artist, the Maker of all things.  The English word ‘artist’ comes form the Hebrew word יצר ‘yatsar’ which means to create or form, as a potter molding clay.  The Lord is the former {יצר ‘yatsar’} of all things (Jeremiah 10:16; 51:19).  As a result, all of His works are embedded with His image.

The Holy Scriptures state that Messiah Yahshua/Christ Jesus is all and in all (Colossians 3:11),  this is because He is the Creator (Ephesians 3:9; 1 Corinthians 8:6; John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:12-17; Hebrews 1:1-12).  All things are a shadow pointing back to Messiah (Hebrews 8:5; 9:24; 10:1; Colossians 2:16-17) who is the Image of God (Hebrews 1:3; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Colossians 1:15-16).
In the beginning, the Spirit of God hovered over the waters (Genesis 1:2).  The word for hover in this verse is רחף ‘rachaph’ which pictures a bird overshadowing her nest.  The Almighty then said “let there be light” from whence all matter came forth, creating a shadow of His image over all of creation.

Shadows of Messiah – Daily Tidbits

All things are a shadow pointing back to Messiah (Hebrews 8:5; 9:24; 10:1; Colossians 2:16-17) who is the Image of God (Hebrews 1:3; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Colossians 1:15-16).  In our 3 dimensional world we are familiar with 2 dimensional shadows that are cast by 3 dimensional objects.  Scripture, and even science speaks of a 4th dimensional spirit realm.  A 4th dimensional object will cast a 3 dimensional shadow.  The Almighty, who dwells in this 4th dimension casts a 3 dimensional shadow which is seen in all His handiwork of this creation.  In the beginning, the Spirit hovered over the waters (Genesis 1:2). The word for hover here (רחף ‘rachaph’) links to a bird overshadowing her nest. The Almighty then said let there be light which cast a shadow over the entire universe. Hence, all of His creation is a shadow pointing back to Him.

All of creation is pointing us to Him.

Everything we see, hear, touch, taste & smell points to Him.  Calling us to Him, to know Him more, to walk closer with Him, to glorify Him and praise Him.  He is described as Light, Love, Truth, Life, the Way…The Tabernacle and the Temple are shadow pictures of Him which corresponds to our bodies.  Our bodies as a whole point to Him and each individual part teaches and points back to Messiah.  He is described as the Living Waters, He is seen in the trees, vine, branches, roots, the rocks, the earth, lilies, roses, seed, the grass, the clouds, fire, the wind,  the sun, moon and stars.  Music, color, numbers, shapes and all frequencies point to Him.  Lions, lambs, oxen, eagles, hens all point to Him.  He is seen in armies, captains, kings, swords & shields.  He is seen in the institution of the family, fathers, sons, daughters & mothers.  He is seen in marriage and children.  He is seen in farming, carpentry, education & manufacturing.

From the time that we wake up, get dressed, bathe, eat breakfast and go to work, to the time that we go to bed, all that we see and do and experience is pointing to Him.  When we awake from sleep and when the sun rises it points to the resurrection so that we can see Messiah, give thanks and glorify His name.  Each time that we feel our heart beat it is pumping the waters of life which makes a sound similar to ‘to-dah’, ‘to-dah’  thank you, thank you and each breathe we take proclaims His name.  When we inhale it sounds like Yah, when we exhale it sounds like way….Todah YHWH, todah YHWH our bodies are proclaiming all day everyday.  When we get dressed in them morning it reminds us that when mankind fell it was YHWH who clothed Adam pointing to the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the earth.

When we bathe it points to baptism and being reborn in Messiah, in fact the word for soap comes from the same root for son (בר ‘bar’).  We eat our breakfasts or our daily bread who is Messiah.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner reminds us of the Biblical concept of praying 3 times a day, which corresponds to the specific hours mentioned in reference to Messiah on the tree and the hours of prayer (3rd, 6th, 9th hours).  We go to our jobs or to school and are reminded that He is the one that gives us the power to gain wealth.  He is the one that gives us the intellect and skill to do our jobs.  Our jobs remind us that we are to be servants to one another, just as He was.  After the work day we come home, showing a picture of entering into the Kingdom when our work is done.  We sit down to eat dinner, showing the picture of the wedding supper where we eat with our loved ones.

ALL things point to Him.  May He be glorified in all that we think, say and do.

As one begins to see shadow pictures and parables of Messiah in all of creation, the sense of awe and wonder that one experiences is beyond words.

Rom 11:33 O the depth of the riches and of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
Rom 11:34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who became His counselor?”
Isa. 40:13
Rom 11:35 “Or who first gave to Him, and it will be repaid to him?” Job 41:11
Rom 11:36 Because of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.

Not only is His wisdom and Glory incomprehensible, but His creation reveals His unfathomable love for mankind. To think that everything we experience in life was designed that way so that man might come to a stronger relationship with his Creator is beyond amazing. There are no adjectives to describe His greatness.

2Co 10:5  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience* of Christ;

Obedience comes from the Greek: ‘hupakoe’, which corresponds to the Hebrew word anavah.
G5218
hupakoe     H6038    anavah
Anavah means to be humble, low, submissive, meek…to bow down before.
Php 2:10  that at the name of Jesus “every knee should bow,” of heavenly ones, and earthly ones, and ones under the earth,
Php 2:11  and “every tongue should confess” that Jesus Christ is “Lord,” to the glory of God the Father.
Isa. 45:23

As one begins to see shadow pictures and parables of Messiah in all of creation, the sense of awe and wonder that one experiences is beyond words.

To think that everything we experience in life was designed that way so that man might come to a stronger relationship with his Creator is beyond amazing. There are no adjectives to describe His greatness and love for the work of His hands.
